While having multiple positions in the school can be crazy, I love being able to see all the students. I read everyone a book about catching a gingerbread person in a gingerbread house, and did the project with division 4 as an example for everyone. Wait until you see the finished products! They were so creative and so careful with their cutting and glueing

Partner reading
We have been learning how to appreciate books, even if we can’t read all the words! We spent some time looking through Halloween books, making up stories with the pictures, and seeing if there are any words we recognize. This is a great thing to practice at home as well.

thankful trees
We have so much to be thankful for. The students worked very hard on their trees. They painted, colored, cut, brainstormed together, and wrote!

Hello division 4! I am back in to my account and ready to share some of the fun things we have been doing! Here is a little video from September 29th. We had a great discussion about what orange shirt days means, and spend some time colouring a design by a local indigenous artist. They were so mindful in their colouring as we talked about sending healing thoughts to indigenous communities.
