Partner reading
We have been learning how to appreciate books, even if we can’t read all the words! We spent some time looking through Halloween books, making up stories with the pictures, and seeing if there are any words we recognize. This is a great thing to practice at home as well.

Hello division 4! I am back in to my account and ready to share some of the fun things we have been doing! Here is a little video from September 29th. We had a great discussion about what orange shirt days means, and spend some time colouring a design by a local indigenous artist. They were so mindful in their colouring as we talked about sending healing thoughts to indigenous communities.

Good morning! We will be participating in the Global School Play Day today! It's so easy to forget the importance of play in the development of young minds.
I watched this TED Talk this morning as a reminder of the importance of play. While it might be a bit confusing for children, I highly recommend adults take a look at it!
